Seniors Winter Season 2023

Seniors winter season starts week commencing 1 May 2023.

Seniors competition games will be played on Tuesday evenings at Wurdi Baierr Stadium.

The Surf Coast Netball Association SENIORS Netball Competition gives players the opportunity to compete in organised competition with scoring, ladders and finals.  The pace is fast in the SENIORS competition but the friendly banter and team camaraderie is the focus for our Seniors.

Details

  • Players must be 18 and over to join the Seniors division, however, exemptions can be made at the discretion of the coach and match umpires.

  • If there are 12 or more Seniors teams registered for the winter season, teams will be graded and separated into A Grade and B Grade. There will be a separate fixture and finals for each grade.

  • Games are usually played between 6pm and 9pm on Tuesday nights at Wurdi Baierr stadium. The exact game times are TBC depending on the number of Senior teams in the winter season.

  • Seniors will play 16 rounds followed by 2 rounds of finals with the top 4 teams after 16 rounds making the finals.

  • All games will be scored and each team must provide a scorer.

  • MVP points will be awarded by umpires at the conclusion of each game with an overall Seniors A Grade and Seniors B Grade MVP trophy awarded at the end of the winter season.

  • All players must play a minimum of 5 games during the winter season and be officially registered to that team to be eligible for finals.

Seniors Team Registration fee - $1300

  • All team fees are due upfront prior to the start of the winter season and will help to cover court hire costs and umpire payments for the entire season.

  • No weekly payments will be accepted.

  • All payments will be made during the team registration process through Netball Connect.

  • Teams must nominate a team manager to register the team and make the winter season payment in full.

  • Minimum of 7 players per team. We recommend 8 or more players to share costs more effectively and cover player unavailability.

REGISTRATIONS OPEN 27th March 2023
