The Surf Coast Netball Association (SCNA) is committed to providing netball opportunities for everyone on the Surf Coast and surrounding areas. Our focus is on introducing new players to the game and helping to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment, with an emphasis on inclusivity and team spirit.

SCNA is incredibly fortunate to be able to conduct the majority of our games on indoor courts at Wurdi Baierr Stadium in Torquay. With four indoor courts on offer, plus outdoor courts available as needed, our teams can play with comfort all year round.

​

Our Association is run by a Committee made up entirely of volunteers. We are parents of beginner and junior players, and players from senior teams, who share a passion for the game of netball and are committed to ensuring that the competition will remain in Torquay for many years to come. Everyone who is a member of our Association, including team managers, players, coaches, umpires and parents, are welcome to join the committee and/or attend our meetings. There is a lot of work involved in running an Association, and our Committee works hard behind the scenes to ensure the experience for teams and players is a positive one. As an Association affiliated with Netball Victoria, we are governed by a series of policies and guidelines that help define all of our activities, both on and off the court. All SCNA members are asked to familiarise themselves with the policies and guidelines most relevant to themselves and/or their child/ren, in particular the SCNA Bylaws and respective Codes of Conduct. Effective communication between the Committee and our Association members is essential, and we rely entirely on various forms of digital communication ie email, website, NetballConnect notifications, and social media. We want to invite all SCNA members to follow our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) to ensure you remain up-to-date with our latest news and announcements.
