SUMMER SEASON

Our summer season starts in early term 4 and concludes towards the end of term 1 the following year.

WINTER SEASON

Our winter season starts in early term 2 and concludes towards the end of term 3.

For Junior, Senior and Mixed teams, the season will consist of 15-16 rounds of regular games followed by two (2) rounds of finals. Beginner teams will play 17-18 rounds of regular games and no finals.

team fees

Prior to the start of each season, the SCNA Committee sets team registration fees. This amount is primarily to cover the court hire and umpire fees for that season, along with new equipment required. To ensure netball can be enjoyed by everyone, we are committed to keeping team fees as low as possible.

Netball Victoria membership

All players and umpires require Netball Victoria membership to participate. This includes insurance cover. This is purchased through your Netball Connect login upon registration.

Registrations open approximately four (4) weeks prior to the competition start date. We accept team registrations for the following competitions.

Walking Netball

Net Set Go

Beginners/Cadets and Senior Women’s games are played on Tuesdays.
Junior/Intermediate and Mixed games are played on Thursdays.

Joining a Team

SCNA is a Netball Association, not a club, so we don’t create or assign teams – we run the competitions.

Looking for a team?

Most teams are full by the time registrations open, so the quickest way to join is to ask around at school or post in the Surf Coast Netball Players Facebook group.
We can also keep your details on file in case a team is short on players or a new team forms. Please email info@scna.net.au and provide name, year of birth, and contact number.
