Joining a Team
-
SCNA is a Netball Association, not a club, so we don’t create or assign teams – we run the competitions.
Looking for a team?
-
Most teams are full by the time registrations open, so the quickest way to join is to ask around at school or post in the Surf Coast Netball Players Facebook group.
-
We can also keep your details on file in case a team is short on players or a new team forms. Please email info@scna.net.au and provide name, year of birth, and contact number.
team fees
The team fee for all competitions
Seniors/Mixed /U15/U17 = $1575**
U13 = $1,500**
U9/U11 = $1,475**

** (plus a credit card transaction fee of $28 or a direct deposit fee of $10). Team registration costs have increased slightly to help cover competition operating costs)
Each player will also need to renew their annual Netball Victoria membership when registering for Summer (VNA = insurance).
If you do not purchase an annual VNA then players must purchase a Single Game Voucher (SGV) when they play, the voucher is $3 (age 7- 15 years) and $5 (for Seniors)and covers their insurance for one game only.
Uninsured players CANNOT take the court.
VNA annual costs are approx. $70 for ages 7-17 years and $90 for ages 18 years and over.
Click here for instructions on how to purchase a Single Game Voucher
Please follow the steps below to register your TEAM. Due to court availability, we are capping
registrations. We encourage you to complete your team registration as soon as possible to
ensure a spot.

Senior Ladies registration link

1. If you have previously registered a team or individual through SCNA, please ignore
all of those entries in your Netball Connect account and select ‘NEW TEAM
REGISTRATION’

2. This step involves you registering the TEAM NAME ONLY, adding yourself as team
manager, and paying full team fees.

3. DO NOT add any player information at this stage.

4. Once your team is registered and paid, you have 2 options to get your team mates to
register - please only select one method :
Option 1. Find the new team entry in your NetballConnect account and choose the option
to ‘Invite players’. Enter all the player names, mobile numbers and email addresses,
and a link will be emailed to each player for them to register themselves to your team
, OR
Option 2. Advise players to log into their NetballConnect app and register
themselves to the 25/26 SCNA competition only (no need to select a team at this point) and the SCNA admin team will pull the players into your team once you submit a list as per step 5 below,
5. Please send an email ASAP to info@scna.net.au with a list of your players’ full names so we can make
sure all players end up in the correct team.
6. If your team has a coach, please also email us your coach’s name, phone, and email
address.
7. Provide SCNA with proof of current Working with Children’s Check for all TEAM
MANAGERS and COACHES. You can get a free WWC here –

NOTE: Netball Victoria requires that all beginner/cadet/junior and intermediate team managers and coaches have a
valid WWCC, and the SCNA needs to keep evidence of this in our files. If you already have a
current WWCC you must add SCNA as an organisation as part of your assessment.
